Initial Assessment
Not all lino floors are the same shape and not all lino floors will require the same level of work so a site survey is highly recommended. You do not want to pay out more than is needed so book us in for a free consultation before you make up your mind. While some lino floors will require a full stripping, sealing and polishing, others can only require a deep clean and then a high speed buffing.

Deep Cleaning
The floor will be deep cleaned with heavy duty floor cleaners, floor strippers and wax removers. The idea is to bring the floor to its original condition and remove as much dirt, markings and the old sealers as possible.
In most cases, the dirt and the markings have only affected the old sealers so by stripping the old sealer off we will get rid of the issues as well. Floor Cleaning Dublin uses Irish manufactured floor strippers, floor cleaners and floor polishes.

Lino Floor Cleaning I Sealing
After the floor was stripped of all kinds of floor polishes, waxes and all types of dirt, we will have to apply a few coats of high traffic floor polish to make the floor look better, to protect it against the daily traffic and to make the floor much more cleanable.
The sealer will slightly overcoat the floor and it will create a barrier between the floor itself and the daily traffic.

The Maintenance
After the whole process is completed and the floor is now clean and polished, the maintenance routine has to start. Start by investing in a new mop or bucket, a neutral PH floor cleaner and a floor buffer.
The more you buff the floor, the better it looks and the longer it lasts. The daily traffic is likely to create micro erosions on the protective coat of floor polish but those micro erosions can be easily flattened up and restored when the floor is getting buffed and washed with a proper quality maintainer.
