The Initial Assessment

The Process Of Restoration

The job was booked in for this Saturday. Our highly skilled specialists arrived at the location in Cookstown by 8 am. While rooms were emptied by the customer, some items were still around so we removed everything and prepared the tools for the first cleaning operation.

1. Stripping | The entire area was treated with a mixture of floor strippers, degreasers and defoamers. All those cleaning agents work well together to fully break down the pre-existing sealers, waxes and impregnated dirt residue. 
2. Scrubbing | The floor got scrubbed big time with aggressive black floor pads until all the dirt became a thick and dark slurry that was extracted with our powerful wet vacs.
3. Drying | During the cleaning process the floor will get very wet. We used industrial fans to fully dry it and create a perfect base for further coatings.
4. Polishing | The floor was looking very rough and very absorbent. We had to apply 5 coats of our secret primer and 3 coats of our incredible durable floor polish. At the end, the floor looked like it was just installed a few days ago.
